Mid July, I took some time off and attended Legacy Conference in Chicago. This was the perfect opportunity to revisit the city, fellowship with like-minded believers, and go on a boat tour with The Chicago Architecture Foundation.
When I visited back in 2013 for the APA Conference, the boat tour was the one thing I missed out on due to the off season, so I couldn’t wait to purchase my ticket and take in more of the city’s architecture and history this second time around.
Before Legacy got underway, I checked into my dorm room at Moody Bible Institute, dropped my bags, and headed out to take advantage of what would be the most beautiful, cloud- and rain-free day of my stay. . .
I could go on about the details of the tour, but I won’t spoil it for you. If you’re ever in Chicago, put this on your list of things to do — especially if you’re a plannerd like me who enjoys a good history lesson on how a city evolves.
So, without further ado, here are some of my favorite shots.
